Eugene and the Abandoned

 What is it?

The Abandoned are PvE (Player verse Enemy) targets. They have to be rallied against in order to defeat them.

How do I find them?

During the event Eugene and the Abandoned, players can attack walkers on the map for a chance to collect "exquisite pieces of origami". These will show up in your inventory after you claim them. The papers are coded messages from Eugene of locations for the Abandoned army. 

How do I use them?

Players need to first open their inventory, and then find the Origami papers. From there you can select "use" and an Abandoned army will appear on the map.

Can I find them without defeating walkers?

No. Players must attack walkers on the maps in order to find origami papers. Very occasionally, you might find an Abandoned army on the map from someone else using the paper. If these Abandoned have been sitting out there for a while without the clan attacking it, feel free to attack it.

Do they stay on the map until you defeat them?

No. Once you use the origami paper, you have two hours to defeat the army. If you don't rally and defeat the army before that time, your Abandoned army will disappear. So, make sure once you use the paper, you rally as soon as possible.

What do you earn from defeating an Abandoned army?

Mostly bullets! (Which everyone could use, am I right?) Defeating an Abandoned army will always give you bullets and combat experience. Other things you can win but are not guaranteed are Eugene fragments, copper, iron, steel, clay, leather, and cloth.

Outside of the things you directly win from defeating Abandoned armies, you also can receive rewards from the event tab as well. There are personal rewards, clan ranking awards, and clan chests that contain supplies, rubies, and fragments as well.

When should I use my origami papers?

There are three times each day of the event that are the best time to use your papers.

• 00 UTC - 02 UTC
• 08 UTC - 10 UTC
• 16 UTC - 18 UTC

At these three times, "Eugene's State of Alert" is activated. This means that the rewards are doubled. Starting Abandoned rallies during this time most benefits the clan's ranking.

How long does the event last?

Three days.

Can I use the origami paper when the event is over?

Yes, but ideally players want to save origami papers up until the event is taking place. Using origami papers outside of the event won't help clan rankings or give you the other perks it does when you use them during the event. Save your papers until the event starts again. 

Why do clan rankings matter for this event?

Well, for starters, the higher your clan ranks, the more rewards you get. Additionally, ranking high in events is a status thing among the server. It allows other players to see which clan is the most active on the server. Active clans, earn more members. More members mean more protection and strength. More strength means higher rankings. Higher ranks mean more rewards.

Where do I find the event?

On the upper right side, there will be an event tab. In the event tab, you'll be able to find Eugene and the Abandoned.

Under the event tab, you'll be able to find the leadership board, your personal quest/rewards, the timer for Eugene's State of Alert, and the clan chests.

What are the difficult levels of the Abandoned armies?

Origami papers will allow you to find the following difficult levels:

• 13
• 16
• 19
• 22
• 25

How do I find a specific difficulty level from attacking walkers?

Attacking any walker 13 or below gives you a chance to find a level 13 origami paper. However, your greatest odds of finding the papers come from attacking walkers level 10 - 13.

Attacking any walker between 14 - 16 gives you a chance to find a level 16 origami paper. However, your greatest odds of finding the papers come from attacking walkers level 15 - 16.

Attacking any walker between 17 - 19 gives you a chance to find a level 19 origami paper. However, your greatest odds of finding the papers come from attacking walkers level 18 - 19.

Attacking any walker between 20 - 22 gives you a chance to find a level 22 origami paper. However, your greatest odds of finding the papers come from attacking walkers level 21 - 22.

Attacking any walker between 23 - 25 gives you a chance to find a level 25 origami paper. However, your greatest odds of finding the papers come from attacking walkers level 24 - 25.
